THANKS-living

You can right click and save this and print as a 4x6 free printable. :)

I am going to be posting on Facebook daily (haha! being realistic, it won't end up being daily, but I will try often!) to share something that I am thankful for (or in the case of my printable above, something I am grateful I don't have!).  Feel free to do the same all month and have a month of THANKSliving.

When Lydia was a new baby (she is now 6!), I spent a month blogging about things I was grateful for. It is one of my favorite things to look back on in my old dusty blog...

I remembered today about a quote I had on there (from Ruthie at http://www.sugarpiefarmhouse.com/):

Count your blessings everyday. I call this Thanks-living. Having joy is a big priority for me, and one of the best ways to cultivate it is to be thankful for God's goodness and His blessings. This is something we need to think about intentionally. Deliberately.

2015 Mutual Theme - Embark in the Service of God

Well hello there!  I have neglected this blog for MONTHS and I am sorry!  The summer turned a little bit crazy and my priorities turned to only the most important things - my family was at the top of the list, we moved, we spent some great time with extended family, and when I had a minute, I worked on many design projects and photography jobs.  This blog didn't make the cut of being an "essential!"

I have been anxious to get back into the schedule and routine that the school year brings and one of the first things I have worked on are some new designs for the 2015 Mutual Theme for the young men and young women.  The theme for the upcoming year is from Doctrine and Covenant section 4.  I love this section!  We recited it daily as a missionary and the words in it are so special to me!  Verse 2 is the theme for this year:  "O ye that embark in the service of God, see that ye serve him with all your heart, might, mind and strength, that ye may stand blameless before God at the last day (D&C 4:2, emphasis added by the general youth leaders).

I ended up doing 4 different designs for this.  I had plans to only do 2!  Lucky you!  I hope you can choose between them!

They are all available in my etsy shop.  I hope you enjoy and I would love to hear what you think about them, especially about which design is your favorite!

(for those of you who are curious, the missionary tag is in Polish, where my husband served his mission. I wanted this design to be gender neutral, and the easily readable "Sister Keeley" on my tag just wasn't going to work for my vision!  I decided that since most people couldn't read Polish, they would just see it as a missionary nametag and not necessarily specific to Elders or Sisters. :) )

As soon as I can, I will be adding other sizes to each listing.  I just ran out of time to do that part since I wanted to get these up!  It will be soon, I promise!

I love it when you pin this, share it on facebook, and email it to everyone you know!  Just please respect my design work by not copying the designs, claiming as your own, or selling for profit in any way.

Thanks!

Today on The Dating Divas!

Hey guys!  I am being featured over on the Dating Divas blog today!  Check it out and enter the giveaway there!

********************************************************

Hey there!  I am Kristin Clove, and I am so excited to be here today with The Dating Divas!  I have been designing for myself, friends, and family for a long time, and opened my etsy shop in the end of 2012.  Originally, I just wanted to earn money to go on a cruise with my husband, and since then my little business has grown bigger than I ever dreamed.  My favorite thing about what I do though, is meeting some of the greatest people ever through design projects!

A few facts about me:  I love color!  I CRAVE color all around me and that comes through in my designs.  I need to be in light, open, airy places.  I love citrus fruit.  Freshly squeezed lime is my favorite smell in the entire world.  I am a font-lover (there is a perfect font for every occasion!).   I grew up in Wyoming, have lived in Boston, and spent most of my adult life in Utah.  Mexican food = yum!  I love to read.  Spring is my favorite season.  I hate wearing shoes, but if I must wear them, they had better be cute!  Creating things is my passion.  Laundry is my nemesis.  Chocolate can change my mood in an instant.  I have repinned almost every single fudge recipe there is on Pinterest.  I am obsessed with fresh flowers.  My family is everything to me.

My husband, Tyrel, and I have been married for 9 years, and we have two beautiful and SPUNKY daughters - Lydia and Elsa (yes, EVERYone asks if she was named after the movie.  nope, she wasn't - she was born 2 years before it came out!).  We live in a tiny town in central/southern Utah and I am a full-time mom and part-time designer and photographer.
I attended Utah State University (Gooo Aggies!), and graduated with a degree in Journalism, Public Relations emphasis, and a minor in Ornamental Horticulture, which basically is a fancy way of saying that I know a LOT about writing press releases, trees, flowers, plants, and weeds.  My FAVORITE classes were my floral design classes, followed closely by a few courses in web design, graphic design, and landscape design.  I probably should have noticed that the common thread in all of these was the DESIGN element and switched to a design track. :)  Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved to draw and paint and create.  It makes me happy that I am able to do this for "work" now.

I love designing some of the fabulous printables The Dating Divas offer on their site.  I actually started working with these ladies last summer, so you may have already seen and used quite a few of the printables I have done!
I LOVE doing custom projects - announcements, invitations, family mission statements, handouts.  Send them my way!  I enjoy the challenge of taking YOUR ideas(however specific or loose they may be) and creating something unique and perfect for YOU!
You can find me blogging at:  CdotLove.blogspot.com  (I love offering free printables there!)

My etsy shop is:  CdotLove.etsy.com

I am doing a giveaway right now - one lucky winner will get to choose their prize!

LDS General Conference Printables / May Visiting Teaching Printables

I love this time of year!  I love to make free printables from the wonderful quotes from the LDS church leaders during conference.  I love to share them with you!

These are perfect for the May Visiting Teaching to print out and share with a message of your choice from the April LDS conference!

As I listened to the Women's Conference Meeting tonight, there were so many parts of the talks and songs that touched my heart.  In particular, this quote from Sister Oscarson.

These are all sized as a 4x6.  Just right click and save if you want to print it!

A few of the quotes from the general sessions that have really meant something to me:  (there will be more - keep checking back!)

Update on Evie

In January, I shared a blog post about a little girl named Evie who is battling cancer.  FOR EVIE   I am so excited to have been able to donate over 60 people's contributions to Evie and her family through YOU purchasing the designs I did for Evie.

Evie is a strong little girl, and has been facing her chemo treatments with so much courage.  I try to stay up to date on a facebook page for her, and I think she is just finishing her last treatment right now.  Prayers are answered and miracles happen, so please continue praying for Evie!

I will continue donating 100% of the proceeds from each sale to Evie.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping this family!

Available in MY SHOP.   Or by clicking on the above images.

Girls Camp Journal

I am working hard on getting some new things up in my shop, and one that I am so excited about is this Girls Camp Journal!  I am serving on our Stake Girls Camp committee, and we are doing a version of this for our Young Women.  It is one of those projects that just came together, and I felt like I was able to find inspiring quotes from our church leaders, the whimsical doodle designs came together easily, and I hope you like it!

You can purchase it in my etsy shop:  https://www.etsy.com/listing/182566284/girls-camp-journal-lds-young-women?

Thank you!

Moments of Happiness

I read this quote yesterday and it just hit me about how MUCH I have to be thankful for and how much happiness there is in my life, even in the middle of big (to me) challenges.  Which in all reality, are not that big, or even that hard, they are just what I am struggling with, so while in the middle of it, it feels like a big hard mountain to climb... I know when I am able to look back, it will seem just a small hill...

I designed up a quick printable (8.5x11), you can just right click and save, or go to this link for the full res version.

We ARE deserving of so much happiness in life, and I know that when I start recognizing all the really great and wonderful things (even if they are small), it has such a positive effect and life gets a little sunnier and all-around better.

I hope you are having a wonderful day!

For Evie

I recently found out about a sweet little 6 year old girl in my hometown who is fighting two kinds of cancer.  My heart broke for their family and I cried as I thought about the challenges they are facing.  Then I gathered my courage together and felt comfort in my testimony that families are forever and that I know God is a God of miracles.

That night, as I hugged my own two sweet daughters, I knew I wanted to do something to help, even if it just a little bit.

I designed a couple of prints that I am selling in my shop.  All proceeds will go to Evie and her family to help in their battle.

I have them priced at only $5 for all the prints.  Please help this family by buying and also by sharing the listing, so more and more people can find out about it.

Thank you!
More information about Evie can be found here:
